Algarve, Portugal

First of all, apologies to all my lovely friends who have sent me chocolates from around the world to review (some of them very unusual indeed). Unfortunately, this and that (and a touch of laziness) seem to have conspired to have delayed my latest set of chocolate reviews. But fear not, as with death, taxes and George Osborne looking creepy when he smiles, my next review will come to you eventually.

Until then, please enjoy some holiday snaps from my recent visit to the beautiful Algarve region of Portugal, including Faro, Vilamoura and Lagos. My adventure included visits to ancient Roman ruins, seeing nature’s bounty on rural farms, palaces converted to five star hotels, Moorish palaces, sailing into sea caves, and as much delicious food and wine as I could nom. Portugal is a beautiful country in need of more tourism, and I would definitely recommend a visit. But please- don’t just play golf or lay by the pool. LIVE A LITTLE!!

  1. You look amazing on the beach! We love the travel pix and loved a bar in Lagos called Zanzibar when we adventured there years ago. OO did you fish from up high? The region and beach are amazing. Such a cute shot by the pink building. Great travels and thanks for taking us along. Hugs. Angelphi and Sadie
